1. Describe your first encounter with Mersur?
After discovering Mersur on Instagram I was Immediately ENAMORED with the fun fearless colors and patterns! I love everything the Mersur girl stands for and that is evident on your website and social media outlets. I also LOVE that Murser is made in America and also gives back to stoked.org as well. Both are very important ❤️❤️❤️
2. What are three words that come to mind to describe the brand?
Sexy, Bold and Fun = the 3 best qualities I've found in any brand! It's what drew me to Mersur in the first place.
3. We say at Mersur breathing is the best high. What give you the best high? How do you get your personal high?
I would agree with breathing... Just being happy, healthy and alive! Giving gratitude for the amazing gifts, people and experiences in life. If we don't take time to be thankful for what we have then we aren't breathing!
4. What makes you feel like a goddess?
When my work is done, the bills are paid and the weekend is about to begin!
5. Describe your dream destination right now?
My dream destination is somewhere on a beach with my best girlfriends and cocktail in hand.
6.Describe your fave vacation holiday spot? What do you like about it?
My favorite vacation spot is Sea Island, GA as I grew up going there and it brings back fond memories with all of my family members. It also reminds me of my grandparents who have passed away as they used to take us to bingo, dancing, swimming, boating and more. My grandmother would even take me shopping which was such a treat as we both enjoyed it!
7. What song are you singing in the shower, playing on repeat or belting out loud to in the car?
Right now I'm dancing to "Italove" by Emmanuelle. It's in French...the weird part is I don't speak French or even know what the song is about but I like the vibe of the song. I tend to be obsessed with whichever song I'm using to edit one of my videos and I'm currently editing a video to this song. If you can figure out what this chick is saying in French please let me know!
8. Hot or iced?
Always HOT 🔥🔥🔥 that applies to everything from coffee to the weather to how I like my men! I like to "swipe right!"

Pickles! They are the best!! Heading to Charleston right now and I cannot waaaait to buy a whole basket just to myself.
10. What is your favorite scent?
Hermés "Ambre Nargile"--It's a specialty scent I fell in love with thanks to an old roommate. It's about $300 a bottle so I don't wear it all the time but once you smell it trust me when I say, "You will find a way to afford this scent!"
Victor & Rolf's "Flowerbomb" is a close second. Sweet and spicy 🌶
11. How do you own your own style?
Being confident in my own skin! You have to be fearless, take fashion risks and fail sometimes because at the end of the day fashion is about fun! Anyone that takes it too seriously needs to get a sense of humor.
12. Sunrise or sunset?
Sunset always = Happy hour & friends!
13. How do you want to feel in your clothes? How does wearing your mersur make you feel.
I want to feel like a goddess in my clothes and Mersur makes me feel like one! I feel confident, sexy and fearless in my Mersur -Shirley is BRILLIANT at designing pieces that give me that extra confidence to tackle one of the scariest places for most women...ie. The beach or a pool!
Where was your favorite place to wear your mersur?
So far one of my favorite places thus far has been the Dream Hotel pool...then entire pool area starred at me as I sashayed by the cabana. I practically had to leave because everyone kept asking me, "where'd you get your cute caftans?"
14. Tell us about the work you do and why is it important to a woman?
They say, "if you do what you love you will never have to work a day in your life"... I have loved blogging as it gives me a creative outlet to have fun, play with fashion, art, travel, home decor and more! It has given me the opportunity to meet hundreds of talented people from designers, artists and beyond. There are lots of women in the fashion industry and many of whom are women like Sarah Shirley pursuing a passion and having fun with it! It is extremely rewarding to meeting these women and seeing their passions in action.
15. Do you believe in mermaids?
Of course! Ariel didn't meet her Prince Charming without those fins!
16. How do you turn an everyday workday into an adventure?
Again -- If you do what you love then everyday is an adventure!
17. What is your favorite way to have fun?
My favorite way to have fun is to grab a buddy and explore NYC! We moved here for a reason. There too much magic here!
18. Fave drink?
It depends on the location and time. However, i do love a classic margarita on the rocks with some jalapeños
19. Fave color you think should be a neutral?
Pink!.....Is it not a neutral? This is why I love Mersur!
20. What makes you a #mersurmuse?
Well, hopefully it's my sense of humor? One is naked without one and I do believe the Mersur woman has a strong sense of humor. From the sexy bold colorful prints that cover every Mersur caftan I think it's safe to say this woman is NOT sitting at home watching Netflix. She's hitting the beach or town in style with friends open to any adventure ready for a good time! How can you not have a good time while wearing Mersur?
